| Go here: La-Z-Link The orange wire is needed to power up the amp - whether it's the Bose amps or the aftermarket amp. From your picture, it looks like you need to connect the orange wire from the H/U to the harness. When you say you have an amp but you're not using it, that means you still have the Bose amps in the car? If that's the case, be careful - without a line output converter, your head unit outputs are going to be too high for the Bose amps. I hope this sheds more light on the situation for you. Dave
